I'm Jasmine Pointer, a freelance social media marketing manager, designer & strategist. Previously, I’ve been a children’s book designer for 8 years, where I first started in marketing too, creating digital and print assets for emails, socials, website and catalogue.
Working in publishing developed my skills in audience psychology, understanding what makes a person pause, engage and connect with a product. I combine my design expertise with data to help brands build loyal communities, elevate their online presence and convert followers into customers. I’m always eager to learn, never satisfied with the knowledge I have, and keen to dig deeper into marketing psychology, digital marketing strategies and new ways to connect brands with people.

Social Media & Marketing
Social media is an amazing tool that gives businesses direct access to a huge base of target audiences. When a business relies on building trust to get chosen, and typically gains leads through word-of-mouth, these platforms amplify that process. Trust is easier and quicker to build than ever in a digital world. By sharing real moments, behind-the-scenes content and true personality, businesses form an instant connection with consumers, giving them a reason to book beyond the service itself. When a business shows up regularly online, it becomes familiar and well-recognised, naturally making it a go-to option whenever a consumer finds themselves in need of that service.

King’s Lynn Chiropractic Clinic
January 2026–Present
Management of Facebook with a strategic and tailored focus on increasing local visibility. Delivering and publishing consistent content, the primary goal of this project is to grow the online presence for the clinic, building brand awareness and trust to drive patient bookings and word-of-mouth referrals. To reach people of King’s Lynn and the surrounding areas organically, active engagement and posting within Facebook community and business groups has played a key role in extending local reach.
To maximise production efficiency without sacrificing quality, a core format for visual strategy is the 1080x1350px (4:5 portrait) format. While optimised to take up maximum screen on Instagram, this aspect ratio works well on Facebook for mobile, but doesn’t lose it’s visual impact on desktop either, maintaining a cohesive brand aesthetic across both channels when they are cross-posting to Instagram. Occasionally, a 1200×630px or similar landscape format is used to fit to Facebook aspect ratio, mostly for community group sharing, link-heavy posts and announcements or clinic updates.
Rather than chasing global metrics, content is mostly tailored to a 10–15 mile radius from the clinic, with the maximum being around 40 miles, based on existing patient data and feedback on social media for how far people are willing to travel. This geographically targeted strategy maximises local relevance, turning everyday feed posts into meaningful connections with the local community.
Before taking over, the clinic's Facebook presence consisted of inconsistent posting. For the first half of 2026, establishing a consistent, local-focused content strategy, the page achieved:
+922% increase in Content Views
+867% increase in Engagement/Interactions
+480% increase in Page Followers
+245% increase in Actionable Link Clicks
+200% increase in Page Visits
In comparison to Jan–Dec 2025.
